OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Tír na nÓg Montessori, we provide a safe yet dynamic learning environment, qualified and garda vetted staff and a child led emergent Montessori curriculum based on the individual needs and interests of the children. Our service believes in creating an inclusive setting, which promotes the rights of each child and provides equal opportunities for all. Each staff member is seen as an advocate and activist on behalf of the children, who has the power to positively influence the children’s lives. We promote a listening culture and uphold the right of every child to be heard. The school is run in line with the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, the Children First Act 2015 and the National Frameworks of Aistear and Síolta.
